As more Portable Power Centers are strung together, increases in the voltage drop will occur. The actual voltage drop is a resultant of many factors: total length of cable used from power source to ultimate receptacles, the gauge and condition of the extension cords, the amount of amperes being used, ambient temperatures, condition of plugs and connectors, etc.

We have designed the "Boosters Box" with 3 foot leads entering and exiting. Made with 6/4 cord, they have the Alpha 50 amp 125-250 volt plug and connector which are compatible with our Portable Power System.

Breakers. Each unit contains one 50 amp 2 pole breaker wihich is placed before the transformer. If the transformer should ever short out, everything up-stream is protected, and obviously, everything down-stream would have no current. If the transformer should ever receive an over-load downstream due to excessive demand, the breaker will throw, thereby protecting the transformer.
