Shown above is a Hi-Rise Cordset, so named because this special cordset is often used on high-rise buildings. We want to say, however, that many of our customers desigh this to be used in a horizontal manner. The main cable is 2/4 SO and the branches are 6/4 SO. We do not have a catalog number for each cordset because they are custom designed. We have assigned catalog number 52900 to the "T" mold, complete with 18 inches of 6/4 SO. You specify the distance between the "T"s.

A frequently ordered Hi-Rise Cordset is configured as follows: The wire is 2 gauge, 4 conductor and we use a 100 amp, 120/240 Volt plug and connector. The molded "T"s are placed at intervals of 15feet. 50Amp connectors are attached to the 6/4 pigtails.

We can then attach one of our 6/4 cordsets and these in turn feed our portable power center network.
