When you only have 110 volts available, you can now create 208/220 volts without the 50% drop in amperage associated with the use of transformers. You continue to get all of the amperage available from the circuits that you are using. The cricuitry employed avoids the dangers and problems of reverse polarity, "hot" plugs, phase selection and low/incorrect voltage. The system selection and low/incorrect voltage. The system has safeguards built-in so that it will not function if the operator encounters reverse polarity or is drawing from two sources on the same phase. Quick remedies are furnished and indicated for those conditions. Each complete kit is furnished with a circuit tester that identifies and two pigtails that correct reverse polarity. Model VX2-A provides two 15 amp 125 volt male inlets that accept two 12/3 U-Ground 15 amp 125 volt extension cords. Mounting brackets help to attach directly on suspended stages and mobile equipment.
