| Motor Control
Center for Multiple Hoists |
| |
|
| This unit has been designed for hoisting re-enforced
plastic sheets used for building enclosure/material containment. We
have controlled as many as 12 multi-point hoists
and can easily do more. Each hoist can be individually controlled.
Once the proper tension has been achieved, a “Joy stick”
is then given control over all of the hoists. When necessary, any
individual hoist can be “tweaked” to obtain the correct
tension. |
| |
| Features A) Power Supply Connections are located
in the rear (not shown)
B) The complete unit has a Master Breaker for Protection and Shut
Off
C) Each hoist motor has Breaker protection.
D) Shown are the six Down Buttons that are provided to “tweak”
any of the hoist motors that require a downward movement to provide
proper tension.
E) Shown are the six Up Buttons that are provided to “tweak”
any of the hoist motors that require an upward movement to provide
proper tension.
F) Control toggle switches remove control from the Up and Down buttons
and give control to the “Joy Stick”.
G) Indicating lights signal that the hoist motor is properly connected
to the system. It shows (a) that the Power Supply Cord is properly
connected and (b) that the control cord is connected. If either
or both are NOT connected, the light will NOT be on.
H) Power cord outlets(six each) have three per side (one side hidden
in drawing)
I) Control Cord Inlets are provided (six each) with three on each
side (one side hidden in drawing)
J) Emergency Stop. Stops operations of all hoists.
K) Joy Stick Master Control. With toggles in the “up”
position, the “Joy Stick” takes over. It has three positions:
Up, Down and Off. When removing manual control, the “Joy Stick”
automatically moves to the “Off” position.
L) The swing-out panes is hinged and provides east access to the
inside components.
M) The term NEMA 12 indicates an enclosure that is rainproof, sleet-proof,
dust tight and oil tight

| The above is pre-engineered, pre-assembled
and is all set to go! |

Accessories
|
| Each hoist requires a pair of extension cords i.e.
A power extension cord and a control extension cord. |

Conversion Kits for Push-Button
Enclosures |
| A kit for each hoist is composed of a plug, connector,
boots plus instruction. The purpose of the kit is to permit an easy
return of the hoist motors to your regular inventory once the job
is finished and an equally easy return to another multiple-point job
in the future. |
