“Y”s without Ground Fault

Our extra long “Y”s have a 4 conductor male wiring device. The female wiring devices on the long legs are 250v for motors. The devices on the short legs are 15amp 125volt UG for plugging in the worker’s tools.

These extra long “Y”s come in four styles.
Blunt- The extra long legs have no wiring devices attached. They are blunt. The two short legs are equipped with 15 amp 125 volt U-Ground connectors and boots.

20amp- All devices and boots are attached. Male wiring device is 20amp 125/250v L14-20P and female devices are L6-20C. The boots are attached in the regular way;i.e. Male boot on the plug and female boots on the connectors.

30amp to 20amp- All devices are attached. Male wiring device is 30amp 125/250v L14-30P and female devices are L6-20C. The boots are attached in the regular way; i.e. Males boots on the plug and female boots on the connectors.

30amp- All devices are attached. Male wiring device is 30 amp 125/250v L14-30P and female devices are 30amp 250v L6-30C. All boots are male. The connectors are drilled to accept a rejection pin.

Adapters

These special adapters are for the purpose of adapting a 250volt system fo ruse with 125 volt Motors and source of power. Adapters do not change the voltage; the system must be plugged into a 125volt source to get 125volt for the 125volt motors. The advantage of the adapters is that it allows use of your standard yoke and extension cord inventory for those few times that you need 125volt only.
