Power Supply Transformers

From time to time the voltage required to run equipment will not be available at an installation site. Our series of Power Supply Transformers are designed to provide a safe and easy way to solve this problem.

All that is required is to match your equipment requirements, volts and amperes, to the Output column in the chart below, and then find the building source in th Input column, This will determine which transformer you need. The building must be capable of supplying the number of amperes as shown in the Input Amps column.

Solve phase transformers may be powered from a 3 phase system. All that is necessary is to take voltage from two of the three available "hot" legs.

All power Supply Transformers come with a 15 foot pigtail without wiring devices. All that is necessary is to hard wire them into the source and go to work. Single Phase Transformers come with lifting handles and Three Phase Transformers come with Skid mounts suitable for "Fork Lifting". All units are rated Outdoor. Three Phase Transformers have input circuit breakers.

Voltage Adjustment Taps
Our three phase transformers have voltage adjustments taps. These taps enable the voltage to be adjusted up or down in 2-1/2% increments (up to 5% decrease and up to 10% increase). Tap changing must be done manually unless there is a Tap Changing Switch. The switches are located insided the transformer and are not easily accesible to unauthorized personal after installation on the job site.
